Firewall Installation

The office network has a front door.

A firewall sized for your lines, with rules for staff, guests, and what may leave the building.

  • Sized to the line

Not a box that is too small for the internet circuit.

  • Guest Wi-Fi apart

Visitors do not sit on the office network.

  • Rules you can read

We leave a short note of what is allowed.

The firewall is the box the internet enters through. It is sized to the line you pay for, with separate rules for staff, guests, and anything that should not leave the building.

You get a short note of what is allowed. If a branch VPN or remote access is part of the plan, the firewall is chosen so that tunnel can be added.

What the job includes

  • A box matched to the speed of the internet circuit
  • Staff and guest traffic kept apart
  • Rules written in plain language, left with you
  • Room for a site-to-site or remote-access VPN
  • A person to call when a rule needs to change

From the first visit to handover

  1. 01

    Read the line

Speed, public address, and what already sits at the edge.

  2. 02

    Choose the box

Enough throughput, and the features the site will use.

  3. 03

    Write the rules

Who may browse, who may reach a server, what stays closed.

  4. 04

    Cut over

We move the line and check mail, phones, and the guest Wi-Fi.
